Beth Russo
A skilled leader with more than 25 years of experience in education and nonprofit leadership, Beth is driven by her deep commitment to serving others. She has experience-based expertise in fundraising - from major donor development, annual campaigns, events, corporate sponsorship growth and grant writing. Beyond fundraising, she's skilled in strategic planning, community organizing, culture change, volunteer/team management, team building, problem solving, and communications. She connects people with their desire to make an impact on the world and helps them develop the skills to do so. Beth loves the work of nurturing and motivating staff and volunteers and is a talented educator who knows how to make learning and hard work fun.
About Beth
When I was a little girl, I never imagined I’d become a fundraiser. I also didn’t picture myself as a college professor, an executive director, or a grant writer.
What I’ve always known, though, is that I’m here to make the world a better place.
My journey in fundraising began in 1999, when I asked for my first gift on behalf of an agency I was volunteering with. I haven’t stopped asking since—because when the cause is right, asking is an act of hope.
I’ve been honored to work with a wide range of people: adjudicated youth, incarcerated individuals, college students, high-net-worth donors, major corporations, and even a few celebrities. No matter who I’m working with, my goal remains the same—to build a more just, compassionate, and sustainable world.
